Stamped Concrete / Overlay: Stamped concrete is the top of the line decorative concrete option that we offer. The stamped concrete effect is essentially the use of either fresh concrete or a modified decorative concrete overlay that we then imprint into with a decorative concrete stamp pattern of your choice achieving the look of natural brick and stone. If you prefer this option, you will need to choose a stamp pattern from our Decorative Concrete Stamp Patterns sheet as well as a base color and an accent color from our Decorative Concrete Color Chart. Upon completion of this process, you will need to wait a minimum of 2 days prior to driving on it. This process will receive several coats of sealer to lock in the color.
Stenciled Concrete: The stenciled concrete effect is achieved by either pressing a decorative concrete stencil into fresh concrete prior to coloring the surface, or laying a stencil over existing concrete and then spraying a modified decorative concrete product over the surface. When the concrete stencil is removed, you will be left with the appearance of a stone pattern that you have chosen from Decorative Concrete Stencil Patterns. You will also need to choose your main color as well as a grout line color from the Decorative Concrete Color Chart. This product may also be used without a stencil. Stenciled concrete is not as realistic as stamped concrete, but it gives a similar look. Upon completion of this process, you will need to wait a minimum of 2 days prior to driving on it. This process will receive several coats of sealer to lock in the color.
Broom Finish: If you are not looking for such an involved decorative concrete surface, and would just like to have the surface refinished, the broom finish may be a good solution. This is a modified decorative concrete overlay that is applied onto existing concrete, either with a pigment from the Decorative Concrete Color Chart, or not. Typically this is installed with a squeegee and then quickly broomed off with a concrete broom. This can easily be spruced up by applying some decorative concrete border stencils around the edge and across the middle. This is a great option if you are just looking to give your concrete a face lift. Upon completion of this process, you will need to wait a minimum of 2 days prior to driving on it. This process will receive several coats of sealer to lock in the color. For any questions or concerns, please contact our office, or view our benefits or frequently asked questions page.
